The nameplate is fitted so it will not come off even if it is rotated.
After weakening the adhesive, use a spatula or similar tool that will not scratch the lens and remove it from the lens.

First, pour a very small amount of alcohol around the nameplate.

Insert a spatula into the border between the lens and the nameplate and lift the nameplate straight up.
Rotate the spatula halfway around the lens to avoid scratching the lens surface, and the adhesive will peel off and the nameplate will be removed.

Remove the three screws under the nameplate.

Pull the filter frame straight up.

You can pull it out by hanging it directly above you with a lens sucker.

Insert a spatula between the plastic holder at the rear of the front element and the lens and remove it.

Using a lens sucker, the lenses are pulled out one by one from the back.

To avoid scratching the lens surface, rotate the lens with a rubber lens opener or the like.

After rotating the lens slightly, use a lens sucker or a bamboo skewer as shown in the image, which will not scratch the lens surface, to rotate the lens for easy removal.

Remove the rubber spacer on the inside.
*When the first rear element is removed, it may come off together.

Pull the lens under the rubber up with a lens sucker.

One lens will remain on the main body, but that is as far as it goes.
*The last piece cannot be removed even if it is disassembled from the mount part.

Lenses that cannot be removed can be cleaned when the front element is disassembled.
Therefore, all lenses can be cleaned.

Precautions during cleaning

Canon lenses, if the cleaning finish is not good enough.
Haze appears as if oil has adhered to the surface.
It’s a thin haze, so you don’t notice it when you look through one lens.
We often notice this only after assembling the product.
*After having cleaned it, it was disassembled again due to oil adhesion! To prevent this from happening, please check by holding it up to the light before attaching the caps.
Notes on assembly

When reassembling the rear element, do not forget to shape the removed rubber spacer back to its original position.

The forter frame aligns the notch with the orange indicator of the aperture.
