We at TCCP, led by our leader Tada, provide maintenance instruction for classic cameras in Japan.

Tada’s Instagram has received many messages from people living outside of Japan, including the following

“I would like to know how to maintain camera.”

“I want to take your class.”

“Please tell me how to disassemble the camera when you go to Japan.”

In response to the many voices of people around the world, we will hold a workshop on classic camera disassembly and maintain for those traveling to Japan.

Cameras disassembled and maintained in the workshop will be given to you!

You can put film in that camera and shoot Japan right away!

The camera you will disassembly and maintenance is a PENTAX SP Super-Takumar 55mm F/1.8

The model to be disassembled and maintained by you in the workshop is the PENTAX SP Super-Takumar 55mm F/1.8 lens set.

The disassembly difficulty level is low, and even beginners can disassemble the top cover with relative ease.

Like the SP, this lens is also easy for beginners to disassemble.

Please use the disassembled and maintained PENTAX SP Super-Takumar 55mm F/1.8 to take pictures of various images of Japan.

The following video shows Tada disassembling the Pentax SP and Pentax Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 55mm F/1.8.

The lens being disassembled in the video above is a super-multi-coated Takumar, but the disassembly procedure is the same as for the super Takumar.
